Abigail is originally from California. She received her B.A. in Psychology from UC Berkeley, and she also studied language and culture in Spain. Later, she received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She briefly moved back to California at the start of the pandemic, and then decided to venture out to Bend, Oregon during the Fall of 2020. She is also involved in research in the Social Work field. She is currently working on publications that center on coping skills and a mindfulness approach to trauma-informed care among populations that have experienced or are experiencing complex trauma. Abigail is new to the financial services industry and joined the Kalyx family in March of 2021. She believes in meeting the client/person where they are through a very whole person-centered approach and client empowerment. Thus, Abigail highly values service provision; upholding the dignity and worth of each individual; and the importance of human relationships in her professional life and elsewhere. Furthermore, she embraces and endeavors to uphold the core ethical standards of integrity and competence through continuous learning and growth.
